MANLEY HOPKINSON

Polar RaceManley is world class motivational speaker using professional quality video and pictures taken during the BT Global Challenge and The Polar Race to illustrate his inspiring presentations. With the focus of the talks revolving around his phenomenal experiences, Manley develops the personal themes of fulfilling one's potential and achieving far beyond your own perceived abilities as well as drawing on the numerous leadership and team development lessons; give a team a real sense of purpose and direction, motivate and inspire them (lead them) and it is incredible what can be achieved.

Polar RaceThe Polar Race saw Manley and the team face wind chill conditions of -60 degrees centigrade, the threat of Polar Bears who consider themselves to be top of the food chain, day after day of relentless physical effort as they dragged their own supplies and tent across broken ice, snow drifts and mountainous islands in their bid to win the first ever race to a Pole. Two months before the race Manley had never put on a pair of cross-country skis. This story is one of a shared goal, close teamwork and great personal motivation and discipline to enable one to achieve great things.

PETER SUNNUCKS

Peter Sunnucks is one of only 83 British people to have climbed Mt Everest. He is pictured above. He has also climbed the highest peaks in the America’s, Africa and Europe. He is currently preparing to climb K2 and if successful will become the youngest ever Brit to climb both Mt Everest and K2. Pete is only 27 and hails from Cheltenham. His story is one of real purpose, overcoming adversity and determination to succeed. He lost one of his best friends in Afghanistan and he climbed the Mountain to place a special badge on the summit for his fallen friend Lt John Thornton RM. They both dreamed of climbing the Mountain together.
